FANTASY CHRISTMAS LIST...

Dear Father Christmas,

I've
(mostly) been a really good girl this year, so if you're feeling generous, any of the following would be greatly received! I've even provided you with links to them all, so really I've done all the legwork, all you need to do is rinse your paypal account and deliver them down the chimney with care...

(this is clearly procrastination at it's greatest - anything to avoid the dissertation)

Prada Book
So - you know I have a serious weakness for coffee table books and this would be an amazing addition. 704 pages of hardback loveliness. Shoes, bags, runway stills, essay pieces. woah.

Alexander McQueen ANYTHING!
The absolute king of style and design. Knuckle Duster Clutch OR the Black Or
nate Skull Clutch (im not fussy), these 'Titanic Ballerina Pumps' = masterpieces http://ow.ly/FNOd (I'm a size 5, thanks)
Shawn
Lovell Tree Bed
Beautiful. It'd be like laying in the woods every night. Just think if
you wrapped all little fairy lights round it too!

Delfina Delettrez Jewellery
A bit creepy, but somehow beautiful. The skeleton bracelet - more like a piece of art!

Big Black Bag
So I've already popped into the Spitalfields shop and pranced around the shop 'testing' it out. Safe to say, perfect and I love it. Big time. And lets be honest - credit crunch, so the Chloe one I had my eye on is a bit out of the question, so this will do be nicely.

An old fashioned 'Cinema Marquee Sign'
You know - those cool ones, with the hook on black lettering. I'd love one so much.

Twin Magazine
First Edition (which I always love to get my hands on) Arts & Fashion. YES. YES.

Actually, just a trip to the Claire De Rouen Bookshop off Tottenham Ct Rd would be just lovely (if you gave me a big wad on money to spend there).

Oh - an OF COURSE...a partridge in a Pear Tree?

Lots of Love,

FIREWORKS IN DRIZZLE

Fireworks night. We drove down to Poole Quay, spent a ridiculous amount of time NOT finding a spot to park the car and then watched a few bangs over the water. Credit crunch I suppose - it's just like burning money really?! But nothing on the old Bell School extravaganza of yesteryear...Oh yeah and it was all drizzly and I ended up with a mouthful of red fluff from my beast of a scarf. Chip shop chips, plenty of salt and vinegar (naturally) and all was worth it though.

So,m other things of late...erm...well, uni work is taking over my life. oh joy. Event is cracking on and before I know it i'll be on the plane to Oz. thank god. sun. yes.
Dissertation = LONG. Over it.

Day 14 of my non-chocolate-eating-test-of-willpower. It's shit. Why oh why did I decide to do this. It clearly is something that SHOULD be staple food group. Oh well, come 18th December, i'll stuff myself with it until im sick. I. CAN. DO. THIS.

Saw Michael Jackson 'This is It' yesterday. Average. Well...I'll give it to the man, that it would have been a great production - the dancers were insanely amazing. There needed to be more commentary really. It annoyed me too how everyone around him were continually "Yes Michael" "Of course Michael" "Three bags full Michael" - get a grip - he's not God....AND they don't even reference that he's dead!? no crying, no news clips, nothing. So Maddie and I have agreed that it's a con, he's probably still alive. He's sitting with Elvis and 2Pac somewhere having a right laugh at our expense.

Had a binge on 'Coffee Table' books this week. Was a moment of weakness and I know I have other more important things to spend my student loan on - like, erm, food. But whatever. Nick Knight one and the other a retrospective of Richard Avedon. beaut. They'll be great in my swanky library in the future. yes yes. Miss Woodbridge decided that I have a particular liking for big chunky heavy things. Big books, big meals and stuff...all or nothing, none of that little fancy stuff. I suppose she's right.

Got turned away when I went to Give Blood. Too busy. I always thought they were gagging for whatever they could get their hands on?! oh well...another session in a couple of weeks.

Cried a bit today. What a looser. But it's remembrance Sunday and it was a mixture of sadness and pride I think. Queen in her sexy hat. Poopy Reefs galore.

Anyway..shut up Chloe. More another time. Hour or so trawling the mountain of books for quotes. end. Cup of tea. X Factor. Shower. Bed. Start of a new week again. meh.
